Nicholle and Patty were tremendously helpful during an unpleasant time in my life. I was treated with kindness and compassion and was able to get a fair agreement without having to go to court more than once.

After researching family attornies in Connecticut, I followed a trusted recommendation to consult with Freed Marcroft. I was welcomed with care and understanding as my concerns were heard and addressed. After describing the particulars of my case, I happily participated in setting realistic goals and expectations for my situation, while being carefully informed and reassured of every last detail by the wonderful legal team which now represented me. Attorney Maryam Afif (who I can only describe as a Godsend) then took to the helm, and with her guidance we were able to finalize a resolution that was beneficial for all parties involved. What makes Freed Marcroft (especially Attorney Afif) stand out from the rest is their dedication and compassion for their clients and their loved ones. If you're looking for an attorney to stand up on a soap box and peddle emotionally charged legal jargon to an audience, look elsewhere. If you're looking for an attorney who will use calculated tact, compassion, and bring forth the best possible outcome of any case, I would encourage you to stop right here and become a client of Freed Marcroft. You have found the best; look no further, and go with confidence. They will not let you down.

The honesty and diplomacy displayed by this firm was refreshing. Their kindness in dealing with a difficult situation and their willingness to work with me beyond reasonable expectation made for a pleasant and to a difficult situation. I will be returning to this firm if any needs should arise and I recommend everyone do the same. The care they showed in rectifying my situation and listening to my concerns make this firm top of my list.

I was very impressed with the high level of efficiency and organization of this law firm. When you are tackling complicated legal matters, it's an investment and something you can not take lightly. If you hire Freed Marcroft, your investment will be met with a compassionate and competent team of professionals. Specifics I liked : they use an app that allows you to be in the know and on task at all times, they are always accessible and responsive, billing is very organized, always updated and detailed and they were such a nice mix of empathy and professionalism. If you are considering this law firm, I suggest you spend some time on their website. I think you will find it validates some of my remarks.

Very professional and compassionate! Attorney Brandy Thomas was extremely organized, responsive, and efficient. I really appreciate that she truly had my best interest in mind and laid out all available options along with pros and cons right at the start and let me choose how to proceed instead of just pushing for the most expensive route (litigation) like other attorneys. The firm sent flowers, post cards, and checked in with me to make sure I’m doing ok even months after my case was closed. Well worth the money!

I worked with Freed Marcroft as a ‘Post-Judgement—Financial’ client, and it was a refreshingly positive experience. My representation was thorough, straightforward, honest, and experienced enough to show confidence in the compassion needed to achieve the original goals. I would work with them again, with no hesitation.

We are so grateful to Freed Marcroft for helping us navigate the adoption process. Everyone we spoke with was kind, patient and extremely responsive. We were so anxious and overwhelmed just thinking about having to go through this process but Freed Marcroft made it easy and seamless. Instead of dreading everything about this, we were able to experience the joy of knowing that we will forever be recognized as our son’s parents. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts!

My wife and I recently connected to Freed Marcroft for guidance in completing second parent adoption for our child. With changes in current political climate, it was a tremendous relief to see a firm be so forthcoming in their hopes to support LGBTQ+ families. Not only was the desire to help apparent, the response to inquires was immediate (I received a phone call in response to an email within 2 minutes of it being sent). Our interactions have been nothing but pleasant, honest, and collaborative - we are so grateful.
